Job summary

ORG UAC in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned procurement professional to supervise daily operations, manage suppliers, and optimize costs. The role emphasizes requisition and PO processing, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely deliveries and budget adherence.

You will develop sourcing plans, manage stock levels, and lead supplier performance improvements, collaborating with production, warehousing, and finance teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years procurement experience.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier negotiation, PO management and cost control.
• Hands-on SAP experience and familiarity with procurement documentation.
• Experience supervising a procurement team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily procurement activities and ensure timely processing of requisitions and POs.
• Review requisitions for completeness, accuracy, and budget compliance, and ensure POs follow the approval matrix.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Follow up on PO status and supplier commitments to prevent shortages and disruptions.
• Develop material sourcing plans based on forecasted production volumes.
• Apply safety stock strategies and supplier lead times to determine order quantities and timing.
• Work with Warehouse and Inventory teams to maintain availability while avoiding excess purchases.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers; maintain an updated supplier database.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues such as pricing discrepancies and delays.
• Conduct price comparisons and market assessments to support decisions.
• Identify savings through bulk purchasing and long-term agreements without compromising quality.
• Monitor procurement spend, support budget control, and report on savings and performance.
• Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance on invoices and payments.
