Job summary

SSC Egypt is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist or Engineer to support procurement activities across construction projects in Riyadh. You will review BOQs, technical drawings, and project specifications, source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, and manage RFQs, quotations, and purchase orders to ensure timely material delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction procurement experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Business

Qualifications

3–5 years of procurement experience in the construction industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Business Administration with relevant construction procurement experience.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP systems, and subcontracting.
Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and commercial evaluation skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
CIPS or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement activities for construction, fit-out, and MEP projects.
Review BOQs, technical drawings, and project specifications.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
Manage RFQs, quotation comparisons, and purchase orders.
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure timely material delivery.
Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality and compliance.
Support procurement activities during tendering and project execution.
