Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned Statutory and Tax professional to oversee statutory reporting, tax filings, and audit coordination across entities in the Middle East, ensuring IFRS and local GAAP compliance. Qualifications

  • CPA/CA (or equivalent) with 7-10 years of experience, including 5+ years in Big 4 audit (Middle East preferred).
  • Strong IFRS and local GAAP expertise.
  • Experience managing complex audits, tax filings, and internal controls.
  • Background in multinational, matrix organisations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and multitasking skills.
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (Written and Oral).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and file statutory financial statements and tax returns (CIT/VAT).
  • Support statutory audits and tax authority reviews, acting as key liaison with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Perform tax and GAAP reconciliations (US GAAP to local GAAP).
  • Forecast tax liabilities and support cash flow planning.
  • Collaborate with HQ finance, Corporate Tax, and global stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Support business transitions, reorganisations, and ad hoc initiatives.
  • Prepare board reporting and financial performance presentations.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost control.

About The Role

The Statutory and Tax compliance role is responsible for statutory reporting, audit coordination, and tax compliance across multiple entities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory requirements in the Middle-east region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and file statutory financial statements and tax returns (CIT/VAT)
  • Support statutory audits and tax authority reviews, acting as key liaison with auditors
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls
  • Perform tax and GAAP reconciliations (US GAAP to local GAAP)
  • Forecast tax liabilities and support cash flow planning
  • Collaborate with HQ finance, Corporate Tax, and global stakeholders and external service providers
  • Support business transitions, reorganisations, and ad hoc initiatives
  • Prepare board reporting and financial performance presentations
