Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Testing & Commissioning Manager specialized in STATCOM systems to lead end-to-end grid integration and commissioning for dynamic voltage support projects. You will oversee engineering reviews, installation checks, energization sequencing, and performance testing across substations and renewable plants.

The role requires deep knowledge of FACTS, power electronics, and robust troubleshooting skills to ensure reliable STATCOM operation under dynamic grid conditions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering.
• 12–15 years commissioning experience with STATCOM systems.
• OEM commissioning experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review STATCOM system documentation and provide input to engineering team.
• Verify installation quality of VSC, cooling systems, and control panels.
• Coordinate stepwise energization and validate STATCOM operating modes.
• Support grid-compliance tests and interface with grid operators.
• Prepare commissioning and performance test reports.
• Train O&M personnel on STATCOM operation and alarms.
