The MENA Grocery team (UFG) is offering a role to own building new business from ground Zero. We are seeking a self-starter who can quickly familiarize themselves with this fast-paced environment, build relationships/trust with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership within the program which will require understanding of complex business/Tech/Ops processes at Amazon and our partners and devising an optimal engagement model. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, analytical talent and good document writing skills with concise communication are essential to success in this role.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to own storefront marketing and in-store customer experience end-to-end, with responsibility for outbound customer communications and out-of-home (OOH) campaigns. This role is accountable for driving customer engagement, conversion, and frequency through high-quality creative execution across digital and physical touchpoints. This role requires a high bar for creative quality, strong execution discipline, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver measurable customer impact.

Key responsibilities details
  • Storefront & In-Store CX Ownership - Own the customer-backward strategy for storefront and in-store marketing surfaces; define and execute campaigns that improve discovery, conversion, and repeat usage; partner closely with Product, UX, Tech, and Analytics to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions; ensure marketing placements are simple, intuitive, and performance-driven.
  • Outbound Customer Messaging - Own outbound messaging strategy and execution (push, email, WhatsApp/SMS where applicable); define messaging frameworks, cadence, and targeting to drive engagement without customer fatigue; run experiments and continuously optimize using data and customer insights.
  • Out-of-Home (OOH) Marketing - Own planning and execution of OOH campaigns to drive brand awareness and local relevance; develop clear creative briefs, manage agency partners, and ensure on-time delivery; hold a high bar for message clarity, brand consistency, and measurable outcomes.
  • Creative Direction & Execution - Lead creative concepting and mock development for storefront, outbound, and OOH campaigns; review and iterate on creative assets to meet Amazon's standards for clarity and customer trust; balance speed of execution with long-term brand and CX quality.
  • Measurement & Results - Define success metrics and mechanisms for all campaigns; deep dive on performance data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions; communicate results and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.
A day in the life

You will participate in cross-functional meetings with commercial teams, work in partnership with commercial teams to accelerate their categories and drive discoverability of recently added products, oversee and guide interns on their tasks and help on their career development, brainstorm new campaign strategies with cross-functional teams, run experiments and analyze results, work on merchandising strategies for upcoming events and manage all teams involved, review performance metrics and customer engagement data, generating insights for new experiments and commercial teams, and lead creative concepting and mock development for storefront, outbound, and OOH campaigns.

Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
  • Knowledge of SQL at the intermediate level
