Job summary

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Senior Architect – Technical Office Engineer for Saudi Arabia with 12–15 years of experience and a background in main contracting. The candidate will lead architectural technical office activities, review IFC and shop drawings, and coordinate across multiple disciplines on high-end projects such as luxury hospitality, malls, airports and towers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering is required.
• 12–15 years of relevant construction experience.
• Mandatory contractor/main contractor background.
• Strong experience in Technical Office / Architectural Engineering.
• Proven experience in high-end architectural finishing and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural technical office activities for large-scale projects.
• Review and coordinate IFC drawings, shop drawings, architectural details, specs and submittals.
• Coordinate architectural works with Civil, Structural, MEP, Interior, ELV and other disciplines.
• Review technical submissions, RFIs, method statements and material approvals.
• Resolve technical issues and provide practical solutions with site and project teams.
• Ensure architectural works comply with drawings, specs and quality requirements.
• Monitor deliverables and follow up on pending technical matters.
• Support site teams with technical clarification and coordination throughout project execution.

• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications, finishes, materials and construction methods.
• Strong multi-discipline coordination experience.
• Should be able to work closely with the site team and understand site architectural execution and finishing works.
• Strong personality with excellent communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to closely track tasks, deadlines and pending actions.
• Willing to work in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.
