Job summary

ilmi seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to define and govern the target digital architecture ensuring secure, scalable, and integrated solutions aligned with the technology roadmap.

You will lead architecture reviews across websites, apps, and platforms, establish standards, and mentor teams on approved design approaches while mitigating risks and ensuring coherence throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or any related field.
• A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferable.
• Preferred TOGAF, cloud architecture certifications, integration architecture credentials, or equivalent design/governance certifications are preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, enterprise applications, integration delivery, or related technology architecture roles.
• Extensive experience in architecture governance, integration patterns, non-functional design, security-by-design, and solution review across complex digital environments.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, documentation, and cross-functional advisory skills.
• Proven experience in defining target-state architectures, guiding vendors and delivery teams, and reducing technical risk through sound design governance.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state solution architecture, integration patterns, non-functional requirements, and design principles for the digital ecosystem.
• Lead architecture reviews for websites, mobile apps, digital wayfinding, event tracking, and supporting platforms or interfaces.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, reference models, environment principles, and documentation.
• Ensure solution designs address scalability, resilience, security, maintainability, interoperability, and data flow requirements.
• Guide vendors and project teams on approved technology choices, integration approaches, APIs, and design constraints.
• Identify architectural risks, technical debt, and dependency impacts early and recommend mitigation actions.
• Support technical evaluation during procurement, design sign-off, implementation review, and go-live readiness.
• Promote architecture governance and long-term technology coherence across the organization.
