About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Hafar Al-Batin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software systems and web applications that support business operations and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, experience in full software development lifecycle processes, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and database structures.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Implement database security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support business applications.
• Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations when required.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across all systems.
• Proactively identify opportunities for database performance improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Database Administration or Database Engineering.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and database tuning.
• Experience in backup and recovery management.
• Knowledge of database security and access management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
