Job summary

PrimeGate for Communications and IT is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join their team in Hafar Al-Batin. The successful candidate will design and maintain software systems and applications while ensuring high database availability and performance.

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in Database Administration with strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Database Administration or Database Engineering.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and database tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and database structures.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Implement database security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support business applications.
• Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations when required.
• Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across all systems.
• Proactively identify opportunities for database performance improvements.

Required Qualifications
