Job summary

Egis seeks a detail-oriented Sustainability Specialist (Site) to drive environmental performance at our Riyadh site. You will develop, implement, and monitor sustainability initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and measurable improvements in energy, waste, and emissions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, and collaborative work with site teams to embed sustainable practices into daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in environmental, sustainability, or related site-based role.
• Proven knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability best practices.
• Experience with sustainability reporting and data analysis tools.
• Proficient in energy efficiency, waste management, and carbon footprint reduction.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals and Saudi environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular environmental audits and assessments to identify gaps and improvements.
• Monitor and report on energy consumption, waste, water usage, and carbon emissions.
• Collaborate with site management to integrate sustainability into daily operations.
• Manage sustainability projects from conception to completion, including budget adherence.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency optimization and renewable energy.
• Maintain documentation related to compliance, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability awareness and drive changes.
• Prepare sustainability reports and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and best practices.
