Job summary

Al Watania Information Systems (Wisys) seeks a senior ServiceNow expert to lead design, development, and implementation of scalable ServiceNow solutions. You will translate business needs into architectures, develop applications, and drive integrations using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and OAuth.

The role emphasizes ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, and platform development with hands-on leadership, mentoring, and collaboration in presales activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow experience with hands-on development.
• Experience leading technical delivery of ServiceNow implementations.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and development.
• Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience.
• Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with CMDB, CSDM, data models, security and access controls.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing capabilities.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and solutions.
• Configure and develop ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, and Script Includes.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, OAuth, SSO, and other integration technologies.
• Provide technical expertise across ServiceNow modules, with strong focus on ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, Integrations, and Platform Development.
• Lead technical activities throughout the full implementation lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure ServiceNow best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot complex technical, performance, and integration issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to ServiceNow developers and consultants.
• Participate in customer workshops, solution demonstrations, PoCs, and presales activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, estimates, solution designs, and implementation plans.
• Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate solutions and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow experience, including significant hands‑on development experience.
• Experience leading the technical delivery of ServiceNow implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and development.
• Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting experience.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and enterprise integrations.
• Good understanding of CMDB, CSDM, data models, security, and access controls.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and customer‑facing capabilities.
• Ability to lead developers while remaining hands‑on technically.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) strongly preferred
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Relevant Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) highly desirable for senior candidates

Preferred Experience

• Experience working for a ServiceNow consulting partner or systems integrator.
• Experience delivering large enterprise or government ServiceNow implementations.
• Experience with multi‑module ServiceNow programs.
• Experience designing ServiceNow integrations with complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, platform governance, and technical health assessments.
• Experience supporting presales, RFP responses, technical estimations, and solution demonstrations.
