The Division\'s extensive service portfolio offers product care, modernization, and advisory services to improve performance, extend equipment lifetime and deliver new levels of operational and sustainable efficiency. We help customers keep resources in use for as long as possible, extracting the maximum value from them, and then recovering and regenerating products and materials at the end of their useful life.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

  • Leads and develops the Service Sales team to exceed the sales targets through high-performance and to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with Service sales team and generates and identifies service sales leads by analyzing the IB potential and targeting those new IB opportunities from emerging trends with the Service solutions available.
  • Collaborates with business and account teams to position different service offerings.
  • Drives sales efficiency by ensuring Service Sales team members possess adequate selling skills.
  • Ensures that their own area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
  • Coaches the team (periodically) on formulating sales plans, negotiating, and developing customer segment expertise.
  • Creates, plans, and implements service sales strategy by increasing the Installed Base (IB) penetration through effective utilization of IB database.
  • Promotes value add service product offerings supporting LCM.
  • Responsible for feedback on sales development, distribution of resources for service sales activities, and reporting current market status.
  • Monitors client\'s financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.
  • Achieves service sales volume by ensuring the team sells entire service portfolio.
  • Participates in negotiations of major contracts to secure service sales volume.
  • Ensures setting, periodic-reviewing, and achievement of service sales targets by providing cost effective solutions to the customers and initiating improvement plans as needed.
  • Analyzes service market potential with complete focus on IB penetration and ensures proper customer relationship management.
  • Evaluates and shares relevant information on IB data, sales leads, customers and competitors\' solutions, and marketing trends with the team.
  • Establishes long-term relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding their requirements and relevant regulations and by exhibiting high level of expertise in technical solutions and products.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction issues are registered and responded to by the team.
  • Supports the team by participating in sales activities when needed.
  • Demonstrates one ABB approach and guides direct and indirect reports.

Qualifications for the Role
  • You are immersed in service sales strategies, Installed Base (IB) management, lifecycle management (LCM) solutions, and the MV/LV electrical systems market
  • You have 8 years of experience in electrical systems services sales and solutions, with at least 2 years working as a team manager leading sales professionals with service portfolio offerings, maintenance contracts, and customer lifecycle solutions
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar)
  • You are passionate about building long-term customer relationships and you are innovative around strategic sales planning, team leadership, and driving customer satisfaction
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering / Have a demonstrated track record in achieving service sales targets and managing high-performance sales teams with end users and capable of developing relationships with key decision makers
  • You are at ease communicating in English and Arabic
