King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals invites applications for the Associate or Full Professor position in Geosciences, Sequence Stratigraphy. The successful candidate will develop a vibrant research program and teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, directing graduate research and supervising theses.

Qualifications

• PhD in Sequence Stratigraphy and related geosciences fields.
• Strong record of high-quality basic and applied research in sequence stratigraphy.
• Proven teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Interdisciplinary collaborations linked to hydrocarbon systems are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a strong, vibrant research program with international reputation.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses; supervise graduate research and theses.
