King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor in Geosciences, specializing in Stable Isotope Geochemistry. The appointment may begin as early as January 2026. The successful candidate will conduct cutting‑edge research and teach at undergraduate and graduate levels.

The department offers accredited B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. programs and provides modern analytical facilities.

Qualifications

• PhD in Geology or Geochemistry.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality basic and applied research.
• Experience operating IRMS instrumentation (dual‑inlet and continuous‑flow).
• Teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong, vibrant research program and international reputation through publications.
• Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and supervise theses.
• Direct graduate research and supervise thesis projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues across KFUPM and external partners.
