About the role

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise web applications using modern .NET technologies. The role supports business operations within a regulated insurance environment and ensures compliance with the requirements, policies, and regulations of the Insurance Authority in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, debug, maintain, and test enterprise web applications using modern .NET technologies.
• Lead and perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, scalability, security, and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to development team members.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and support legacy systems when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Identify technical debt, propose technical improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and quality engineering practices. Ensure applications comply with cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory requirements of the Insurance Authority.
• Develop shared and reusable components to improve system efficiency and maintainability.
• Perform other related duties as required in line with business needs.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Preferred)

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in enterprise-level software development
• Experience in the insurance sector or a regulated environment + 6 Years (Preferred)

Language Proficiency

• Proficient in Arabic and English

Professional Certifications

• Relevant technical certifications are preferred
• Relevant technical or professional certifications are an advantage (Preferred)
