Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Water Resources Engineer to lead and deliver water infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. You will design and manage water distribution systems, stormwater, and hydrological analyses, and supervise GIS/CAD teams on diverse assignments.

You bring 10+ years of relevant experience, a civil/environmental/water resources degree, and strong skills in ArcGIS and AutoCAD. This on-site role offers growth, global collaboration, and exposure to high-impact projects.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in water resources engineering or related projects.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering or equivalent.
Advanced proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS or equivalent) and CAD (AutoCAD or similar).
Expertise in water-focused database design, programming, and management.
Experience with water distribution systems, stormwater management, watershed analysis, or hydrological modeling.
Strong project management skills with leading moderate to complex water infrastructure initiatives.
Proficiency in spatial analysis, data visualization, and technical documentation for water sector applications.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior GIS/CAD professionals.

Responsibilities

Operates independently on water infrastructure and hydrological projects.
Designs and programs water-focused databases for applications like water distribution, stormwater, and hydrological analysis.
Customizes database design and programming per project requirements.
Applies GIS and CAD tools to develop water infrastructure solutions and analyses.
May direct Level I/II GIS specialists and manage project tasks.
Delivers water sector GIS projects of moderate to significant scope and complexity.
