Job summary

HanmiGlobal seeks a Senior Telecom Engineer in Saudi Arabia to deliver program-level telecommunications and ICT engineering expertise for a mega infrastructure program in Riyadh. You will oversee design reviews, governance, and compliance across fiber, ICT, and smart infrastructure submissions under the Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, ICT Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Chartered Professional membership or equivalent accreditation.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in telecommunications infrastructure, ICT systems, fiber optic networks, smart city infrastructure, or major capital projects.
• Experience in PMCM/PMC/consultancy/developer/telecom operators or client-side roles on large-scale infrastructure in KSA or GCC.

Responsibilities

• Review telecom reports, ICT strategies, network studies and drawings for compliance with Client requirements.
• Assess fiber optic backbones, duct banks, and network architectures for reliability and scalability.
• Evaluate smart city infra proposals for future readiness and scalability.
• Support program-level governance and engineering assurance across package submissions.
• Coordinate with Technical Manager and teams to resolve interfaces and integrate designs.
• Evaluate design changes and VE proposals for technical, lifecycle impacts.
• Provide expertise during workshops, reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with developers, service providers, and regulators to secure approvals.
• Prepare technical review comments and executive summaries for management and Client.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks while driving engineering excellence and digital transformation.
