Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Civil/Architectural Engineer for a senior contracting role in Riyadh. You will review drawings, BOQs, contracts, and project documents, and prepare shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.

The role emphasizes quantity take-offs, progress monitoring, and variations management. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical offices, strong planning skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contracting companies.
• Strong experience in technical office work, quantity surveying, and payment applications.
• Good planning and scheduling skills using Microsoft Project; Primavera P6 is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong ability to read and analyze drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Fluent Arabic and good command of English.
• Previous experience in Saudi government projects is highly preferred.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers membership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings specifications BOQs contracts and project documents.
• Prepare and review shop drawings RFIs and material submittals.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare review interim payment quantities.
• Verify executed quantities and subcontractor work.
• Prepare project schedules and monitor progress.
• Analyze delays and support corrective planning.
• Prepare project progress and technical reports.
• Identify variations, additional works and quantity discrepancies.
• Support procurement through quantities, specifications and technical comparisons.
• Support tendering activities through drawing reviews, quantity take-offs and scope analysis.
• Prepare as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.
