Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Structure Engineer to supervise the erection and installation of steel structures for Overground metro stations in Riyadh. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and applicable codes, while coordinating with contractors and design teams on-site.

The role requires 15+ years in building projects, strong steel fabrication knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD; BIM familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in building projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, bolting and erection techniques.

Responsibilities

Supervise erection and installation of steel structures for OG metro stations.
Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs and codes (IS, IRC, Eurocode).
Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams to resolve on-site issues.
Monitor construction progress, quality control and safety adherence.
Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on structural works.
Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for steel structures.
Liaise with design teams to address site-related modifications or clarifications.
Ensure documentation of inspections, approvals and quality records.
