Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Structure Engineer to supervise the erection and installation of steel structures for Overground metro stations, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with international standards throughout the construction phase.

The role requires 15+ years in building projects, strong knowledge of steel fabrication, and proficiency with AutoCAD and BIM tools. You will liaise with design teams to address site modifications and maintain comprehensive quality records.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
15+ years of experience in building projects.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, bolting and erection techniques.

Responsibilities

Supervise erection and installation of steel structures for OG metro stations.
Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications and codes (IS, IRC, Eurocode).
Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams to resolve technical issues on-site.
Monitor construction progress, quality control and safety compliance.
Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on structural works, non-conformities and corrective actions.
Review and verify shop drawings, method statements and material submittals.
