Job summary

Cisco Professional Services Security is seeking an experienced security leader to drive Splunk SIEM, SOAR, and AI-driven operations. You will guide architecture, design and delivery for complex engagements, partnering with CISOs and IT leadership to maximize security investments.

Role involves strategic advisory, technical leadership, and a focus on PDIO methodologies, while delivering scalable, high-value outcomes for enterprise customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• University degree + equivalent experience (minimum 8+ years).
• Expert-level certification in Splunk (e.g., Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Certified Consultant) or equivalent security cert.
• Demonstrable experience in customer-facing advisory roles, including scoping, estimating effort, and drafting statements of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative guidance within the Splunk security domain for SIEM, SOAR, and observability integrations.
• Lead multi-functional security projects and advise CISO/IT leadership.
• Design and implement tailored Splunk security architectures to mitigate risk and optimize investments.
• Apply AI and automation to security operations and incident response.
• Develop and maintain high-value customer relationships and ensure alignment with security objectives.
• Define and enforce documentation standards for security deployments.
