Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Environmental/Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in solid waste management and related infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of integrated waste management systems, recycling, and sustainability.
• Proven stakeholder management and multidisciplinary project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver annual business plan outcomes within deadlines and budget.
• Lead technical resources for solid waste management infrastructure, ensuring programme alignment.
• Present management data, KPIs, and technical metrics to leadership teams.
• Support business development, market engagement, and capability development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, regulations, and defined responsibilities.
• Act as primary focal point for solid waste management, driving continuous improvement.
• Provide input on waste collection, transfer, treatment, recycling, and energy/disposal solutions.
• Influence procurement, contracts, and cross-functional project delivery with PMO teams.
• Promote technical excellence and circular economy principles across the project.
• Support net-zero objectives through waste minimisation and resource recovery initiatives.
