Job summary

AL ITTEFAQ STEEL PRODUCTS CO. in Dammam is seeking an operator with 1–3 years of experience in steel production to monitor EAF operations and manage scrap handling. The role requires adherence to HS&E policies and hands-on coordination with crane operators and foremen.

The candidate should hold a Diploma and be able to read process instructions and heat logs, ensuring safe and efficient charge preparation and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma with 1–3 years of relevant experience in steel production.
• Knowledge of HS&E policies and PPE usage.
• Ability to read operating instructions and logs.

Responsibilities

• Check and ensure PC and Level-3 system server working.
• Feed Charge-Mix Recipe in the Level-3 system.
• Cross-check basket weight for discrepancies in displayed weight.
• Scrap loading in basket per charge mix from AM/Manager.
• Load Fluxes, DRI or DRI Fines as required.
• Monitor each basket loading by scrap, under supervision of EAF crew.
• Coordinate with EAF crew, STC and Crane operators.
• Communicate with Crane operators for level and category scrap loading.
