Job summary

Hill International is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules in Saudi Arabia. You will monitor progress, coordinate with project managers and stakeholders, and implement mitigation plans to address delays and risks.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor/Master in Engineering or Accounting with extensive scheduling expertise and strong communication skills in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in engineering or accounting from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in related field on national/international major initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in project scheduling control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.

Job description

• Develop and maintain projects schedules using project management software.
• Monitor projects progress and identify areas of concern or potential delays.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop mitigation plans for identified risks.
• Provide regular updates on projects status to project teams and management.
• Review and analyze projects data to identify trends and improve project performance.
• Collaborate with construction & engineering teams to develop projects schedules and ensure alignment with overall projects goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Manage schedule change requests and ensure that changes are properly documented and communicated.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling and control matters.
• Support project managers in the development of project budgets and resource plans.
• Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Accountant or Engineering from an accredited university.

• Extensive experience in managing and prioritizing projects schedules.
• Ability to present schedules plans and requirements to senior management and other government authorities.
• Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders to secure schedule for projects.
• Capable to fluently communicate in Arabic and English.
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
