Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional copywriting experience within an agency environment.
• Native-level Arabic writing ability with strong fluency in the Saudi Arabic dialect.
• Deep understanding of Saudi culture, consumer behaviour, local references, and communication styles.
• Proven track record creating Arabic-first creative campaigns and content for the Saudi market.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating advertising, campaign, digital, social, brand, and/or content work.
• Ability to develop creative concepts from a strategic brief and turn them into distinctive, engaging copy.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
• Strong presentation and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agency environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Legally authorized to work in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Develop Arabic copy for integrated campaigns across channels (advertising, digital, social, websites, OOH, video).
• Create original campaign concepts, headlines, taglines, scripts, social content, and brand narratives.
• Develop Arabic-first creative ideas, not just translations.
• Write naturally in Saudi Arabic/local dialect, adapting to audience, brand, and channel.
• Demonstrate understanding of Saudi culture, trends, humour, behaviours, and social conversations.
• Collaborate with art directors, strategists, account teams, and clients to bring concepts to life.
• Present creative concepts and copy rationales to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Edit and proofread Arabic content for grammar, spelling, tone, and consistency.
• Help develop and maintain brand tone of voice across platforms.
• Mentor junior writers and contribute to team output.
