Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Follow up on accounts receivable and coordinate collections.
• Handle VAT, WHT, Zakat and other tax compliance.
• Liaise with local banks for financing facilities and compliance.
• Prepare and renew Local Content Certificates and disclosures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Coordinate with government authorities and consultants.
• Review contracts, invoices, and financial documents for compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company compliance.
• Assist management with financial analysis and business planning.

We are seeking an experienced Saudi Accountant to support the finance department in managing accounting operations, tax compliance, external audits, banking relationships, and Local Content requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong experience dealing with government authorities, banks, auditors, and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Manage daily accounting and financial reporting activities.
• 2. Follow up on customer accounts receivable and coordinate collection activities.
• 3. Handle VAT, WHT, Zakat, and other tax compliance matters with ZATCA.
• 4. Liaise with local banks regarding financing facilities, guarantees, LC, account maintenance, and compliance requirements.
• 5. Support the preparation and renewal of Local Content Certificates and related disclosures.
• 6. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and supporting documents.
• 7. Coordinate with external consultants and government authorities.
• 8. Review contracts, invoices, and financial documents to ensure compliance.
• 9. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure company compliance.
• 10. Assist management in financial analysis and business planning.

Requirements

• 1. A resident of the KSA.
• 2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3. 5+ years of accounting experience.
• 4. Experience dealing with ZATCA, external auditors, and local banks.
• 5. Experience in Local Content Certificate preparation and compliance.
• 6. Experience in manufacturing, trading, or project-based companies preferred.
• 7. Good understanding of Saudi tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• 9. Basic to intermediate English communication skills.
• 10. Experience with accounting ERP systems commonly used in Saudi Arabia.
• 11. Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1. SOCPA qualification or progress toward SOCPA.
• 2. Experience with financing facilities, LC, LG, and banking compliance.
• 3. Existing professional network with banks, auditors, and government authorities is highly preferred.

Work Timings: Sunday to Thursday (sometimes Saturday)
