Job description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you Responsible for Hitachi Energy sales activities in his allocated segments (Industries, Infrastructures, Water, Oil & Gas).

How you’ll make an impact
  • Building and maintaining close working relationships with client representatives responsible for making or influencing purchasing decisions. Interact with relevant parties to negotiate sales, develop terms.
  • Promoting customer understanding of full product/system offering and align to provide a solution
  • Ensuring positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan in cases of potential order shortfalls
  • Creating added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
  • Communicating details in accordance with Hitachi Energy offering and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions)
  • Coordinating and making presentations to customers. presentations may cover product features, economic justification, product differentiation and key values.
  • Preparing offers in coordination with the Tendering / Sales Support team, Factory and/or the Sales Manager.
  • Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including commercial Terms and Conditions on behalf of Hitachi Energy
  • Ensuring achievement of the yearly assigned sales budget.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers in coordination with Market Managers.
  • Proposal development support such as Leasing with key Hitachi Energy factories, Order-logging, Risk reviews
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience
  • Good knowledge in SFDC & Maintain SFDC and other sales tools
  • Interaction with Hitachi Energy factories, market managers,
  • customers, end users and business development team.
  • Good knowledge in Transformers, HV Products & Capacitor Banks.
  • Proficiency in Arabic
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
