Job summary

Matar Al Baqmi Holding Company is seeking a QC Engineer to ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on monitoring site works, inspections, material reviews, and maintaining quality documentation for residential projects.

The candidate will develop and maintain the Quality Control Plan, conduct daily inspections of structural and finishing works, review drawings and method statements, and oversee materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• 10+ years of experience in residential construction (structural and finishing).
• Experience in real estate development or construction company.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project's Quality Control Plan.
• Conduct daily inspections of structural and finishing works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve construction drawings, materials, and method statements before execution.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Oversee materials testing (concrete, finishing materials, soil tests) and verify results meet standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and supervisors to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare daily and weekly QC reports including observations and corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, test results and material approvals.
• Ensure delivered materials comply with approved material submittals.
• Assist in quality audits and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality processes and site operations.
