Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of QA/QC inspection or mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in shutdowns and turnarounds in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards and inspection techniques.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior inspectors or engineers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical equipment and systems during shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and safety standards.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and documentations as required.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Support project management to ensure timely completion of shutdown and turnaround activities.
