Job summary

CodeNinja Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our Riyadh QA team.

You will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for Web, Mobile, and API testing, with strong Java skills and hands-on experience across Agile and waterfall environments. The role involves analyzing logs, collaborating with DevOps, product, and development teams, and ensuring robust automation within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Java programming experience.
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Proficient with Appium for mobile automation (Android & iOS).
• Experience with REST Assured for API testing.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint delivery.
• Understanding of STLC/SDLC and manual testing.
• Experience testing mobile apps (versioning, builds, devices).
• API validation skills and SQL querying.
• Familiarity with Kafka basics and log analysis.
• CI/CD integration of automation; Git or similar VCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API testing.
• Build and maintain UI tests with Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
• Develop API test automation with REST Assured and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies.
• Perform various automated tests: functional, regression, smoke, integration.
• Analyze logs to identify root causes and verify behavior.
• Debug failures with developers and stabilize automation.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure, GitLab).
• Test Kafka events, producers/consumers, data flows.
• Validate data with SQL queries; ensure data integrity.
• Manage test scripts and versions in Git.
• Review and optimize scripts for reusability and performance.
• Contribute QA strategy and mentor juniors.
