Job summary

Manpower Resources India is mandated to fill the role of Project Head for a global conglomerate in Saudi Arabia, overseeing Slab Caster, gas-based DRI, and Lime/Dolomitic plants. The candidate will lead from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high safety standards, with 18+ years in iron & steel and strong project leadership.

The position requires a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering; PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of iron & steel industry experience.
• Experience delivering large capital projects from concept to commissioning.
• PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery for multiple facilities from concept to commissioning.
• Drive project planning: scope, budget, schedule, and manpower.
• Coordinate with licensors, EPC contractors and OEMs on process design and equipment specs.
• Manage procurement and contracts with commercial teams.
• Oversee site execution across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works.
• Lead commissioning and handover to operations.
