Job summary

Riyadh Holding is seeking a Senior Project Auditor to assess controls, risk management practices, and governance across development and real estate projects in Riyadh. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in civil/construction/mechanical engineering with 4–6 years of relevant experience, plus strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/construction/mechanical engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in project auditing, project controls or related field.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, internal controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based audits of real estate and development projects.
• Review feasibility studies, budgets, procurement, contractor management and cost controls.
• Evaluate project performance, timelines and delays, including financial implications.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
• Identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop audit findings and monitor corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate results to management.
• Ensure audit activities comply with professional standards and internal policies.

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Auditor to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of controls, risk management practices, and governance processes across development and real estate projects. The role involves conducting risk-based audits, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations to support project success and organizational objectives.

1. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based audits of real estate and development projects.
• Review project feasibility studies, budgets, procurement processes, contractor management, and cost controls.
• Evaluate project performance, timelines, and potential causes of delays, including financial and contractual implications.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
• Identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop audit findings and recommendations and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate results to management.
• Ensure audit activities are conducted in accordance with professional standards and internal policies.

2. Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in project auditing, project controls, construction, engineering, or a related field.
