Job summary

Aramco is seeking a senior Process Engineer to join the Fuels Strategy and Capital Planning Department. You will review capital submittals, validate assumptions, and assess economics, feasibility and technicality of proposed initiatives to align with downstream strategy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and about 10 years in process engineering, economic evaluation, and capital project reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough reviews of capital project submittals to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Assess process-related assumptions within capital projects to ensure technical, operational, and economic soundness.
• Perform feasibility assessments that consider market conditions, business plan outlooks, and long-term fuels strategy.
• Assess the technical feasibility of proposed initiatives and ensure alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
• Provide structured recommendations on project justification, value creation, and alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Perform reviews of business plans and investment plan submissions to ensure consistency with downstream planning.
• Perform detailed reviews of strategic studies and provide engineering insights that strengthen investment decisions.
