Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Senior Project Controller to lead planning and progress control for major projects in Saudi Arabia. You will establish robust baselines, monitor deviations, and drive timely completions in line with contractual dates.

The role spans bid-phase activities, client programs, and full execution, including KPI analysis and progress reporting. The successful candidate will coordinate project controls, staffing, and interfaces across disciplines to support decision-making and ensure

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction sequences for relevant disciplines.
• Knowledge of activities weight (standard man-hours, expected man-hours) and applicable efficiency.
• Ability to execute construction sequences planning, including scheduling to meet milestones.
• Ability to implement the right staffing for construction activities and sequences.
• Capability to plan discipline engineering activities and documentation deliverables to meet project milestones.
• Capability to monitor project activity progress and take corrective actions; contribute to reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a planning and progress control system to support decision-making and meet contractual dates.
• Spot and analyse deviations, estimate time impact, and monitor corrective actions.
• Create a schedule awareness atmosphere among all project participants.
• During bid phase: initiate project control activities, develop road map and internal/ client programs, and perform gap analyses.
• During execution: assign resources, prepare baselines, monitor progress, and support invoicing packages.
• Collect documentation from bid and contract to identify scope and contractual requirements.
• Define project cut-off date calendar and calculate physical progress per phase.
