Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to lead planning for major projects within its Consult and Construct network. You will drive planning strategy, scheduling, and performance across multiple sectors, ensuring delivery aligns with the firm’s objectives and client expectations.

This role emphasizes leadership of large, diverse teams, strong stakeholder management, and integration of sustainability considerations into project planning.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in successful planning of projects and programmes.
• Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
• Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations shaping projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and monitor comprehensive project and programme planning.
• Provide strategic direction for planning across engines/sectors and hubs.
• Ensure tenders and projects are effectively planned, scheduled and tracked.
• Support senior management in negotiations and due diligence.
• Develop long-term planning strategy for the function or BU and align with company goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with client and project stakeholders, internal and external.
