Job summary

Roland Berger GmbH is seeking a Senior Partner to lead and grow our Restructuring, Performance Improvement, and Turnaround (RPT) practice in the Middle East. Drive stabilization, liquidity protection, and operational turnaround for corporates, SOEs, lenders, and investors across the region.

Lead go-to-market for special situations and performance improvement programs, mentor teams, and manage complex, cross-border engagements with senior stakeholders in GCC jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 15-20+ years across restructuring/turnaround or corporate finance with leadership of large cross-border engagements in GCC.
• Proven track record advising boards and creditors on complex restructuring and rapid performance improvement.
• Hands-on exposure to liquidity management, business plan development, valuation, and scenario analysis.
• Sector depth in Middle East industries with public/sovereign stakeholders, and at least 5 years in the region.

Responsibilities

• Originate and lead complex restructurings and contingency planning.
• Advise boards, CFOs, and creditor groups on capital structures and turnaround plans.
• Oversee 100-day plans including working capital unlock and opex reductions.
• Lead multi-stakeholder negotiations among lenders, PE sponsors, SWFs, and regulators.
• Mentor a high-performing team and manage practice economics and alliances.
