Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Lead/ Specialist Procurement – Expeditor Engineer for an offshore topside project. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role focuses on expediting vendor activities, coordinating inspections, and ensuring timely delivery of offshore materials and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in oil & gas, with 5+ years in ADNOC projects, and a mechanical engineering degree. Advanced project coordination, and strong communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in offshore procurement and expediting
• Experience with long-lead offshore equipment and EPC projects

Responsibilities

• Review POs, contracts and specs for offshore materials and equipment.
• Develop and maintain expediting plans aligned with project schedules.
• Monitor vendor manufacturing, fabrication, testing, and documentation progress.
• Coordinate with vendors for FAT, inspections and material release.
• Prepare weekly/monthly expediting and procurement status reports.
• Ensure offshore materials meet standards (API, ASME, ISO, NORSOK) and HSE requirements.
