Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant on the Offensive Security team. You will assess and challenge the security posture for a diverse client portfolio using advanced tools and methodologies.

You will advocate cybersecurity best practices and deliver strong, actionable recommendations to improve defenses. This role emphasizes hands-on testing across networks, applications, and cloud environments, with frequent client interaction and potential travel to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in information security with focus on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Expertise with security assessment tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite Pro, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, and Bloodhound.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or C++.
• Experience in conducting penetration tests across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests (network, web application, cloud, mobile).
• Deliver assessments using Frontier AI Defense test harnesses and platforms.
• Develop custom scripts, tools, and methodologies to automate engagements.
• Engage with clients to articulate testing approaches to technical and executive audiences.
• Generate detailed reports with findings and remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align security objectives.
• Assist in scoping new opportunities and developing internal offensive security infrastructure.
• Travel as needed.
