Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure our enterprise network using Palo Alto, Fortinet, and F5 technologies. You will automate security tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and support critical operations across environments.

The role requires 6+ years in network security, a Bachelor's degree, and hands-on expertise with PAN-OS, Fortinet, F5 BIG-IP, and Python-based automation. Strong incident management and on-call readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Network Security.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect).
• Experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPNs.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible, and network automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
• Manage VPN, remote access, and Zero Trust security solutions.
• Support routing and network security across enterprise environments.
• Automate network security tasks using Python, Ansible, and APIs.
• Manage F5 BIG-IP load balancing solutions.
• Troubleshoot network, firewall, and connectivity issues.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call support.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to maintain security and availability.
