Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise network security solutions across our technology stack.

You will work with Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, and related technologies, conducting security assessments and policy reviews, ensuring high availability and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in network security in enterprise environments.
• Certifications such as PCNSE or PCNSA are highly preferred.
• CCNP Security or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions.
• Maintain and optimize Palo Alto firewall infrastructure.
• Conduct security assessments and firewall policy reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security incidents.
• Support DR, HA, and Business Continuity requirements.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Lead security improvement initiatives and infrastructure upgrades.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, and management of enterprise network security solutions.

Key Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in Network Security.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (mandatory).
• Experience with Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, Security Policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and WildFire.
• Strong knowledge of Network Security Architecture, Routing & Switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL VPN).
• Experience with High Availability (HA) deployments and migration activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and security log analysis skills.
• Experience in firewall policy review, optimization, and best practices.
• Experience working in Data Center and Enterprise environments.

Preferred Certifications:

• PCNSE – Highly Preferred
• PCNSA
• CCNP Security or equivalent is a plus.
