Job summary

Watania Steel seeks an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist / Supervisor to lead sourcing and purchasing of MRO supplies across the plant. The ideal candidate will bring steel-industry procurement know-how and strong vendor management skills.

You will manage end-to-end procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with maintenance, operations, and warehouse teams to align purchasing with plant needs. Saudi market knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant steel industry procurement experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• Saudi nationals preferred; expatriates with Saudi market knowledge acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement of MRO supplies for the plant.
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor base and qualify new suppliers.
• Conduct competitive sourcing, cost/price analysis, and negotiations.
• Manage contracts and service agreements with MRO vendors.
• Execute Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Monitor market prices and sourcing trends to support cost-saving.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and warehouse teams.
