Job summary

Jones Engineering Group is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee site electrical, mechanical and plumbing engineering aspects for a major project. You will lead discipline engineers, coordinate closely with BIM and design teams, and ensure compliance with project requirements and codes throughout execution.

Responsibilities include design reviews, program planning, RFI management, and mentoring a team, while maintaining HSE standards and facilitating seamless interfaces with construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years work experience on construction projects.
• Role applicable degree from a reputed university.
• Experience in Data Centre Projects.
• Experience in managing assigned discipline engineers.
• Professional membership to accredited organization an advantage.
• Competent in the use of PC applications (Microsoft Office suite).

Responsibilities

• Direct line of report to Project Manager during execution and Pre-Construction Manager during tender.
• Coordinate with BIM and Design Team leads to align engineering deliverables.
• Review design, drawings and ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Manage discipline engineers and site stakeholders to Code A status.
• Prepare and maintain engineering programme with Project Manager and Client consultants.
• Ensure HSE compliance across all engineering activities.
• Mentor and supervise project staff.
• Coordinate with Construction and BIM teams for MEP interfaces and clash mitigation.
• Manage submittals, RFI process, and material take-offs coordination.
• Support change management and risk registers with project controls.
