Job summary

Alrawaf Contracting is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer (Electromechanical) to lead procurement for MEPT packages on construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of procurement experience in construction/MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical).
• Experience in KSA or GCC preferred.
• Familiarity with local regulations, vendors, and market conditions.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• ERP proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for electromechanical packages.
• Review project specs, drawings, and BOQs to determine procurement requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and planning engineers.
• Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs and analyze supplier quotations.
• Lead negotiations and finalize purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor procurement budgets and cost savings.
