Job summary

Alrawaf Contracting in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Procurement Engineer (Electromechanical) to manage procurement for MEP packages across construction projects. You will drive strategies, review technical and commercial bids, and ensure timely delivery aligned with project specs and company policies.

The role requires strong negotiation, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle), and deep knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years procurement experience in construction/MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical).
• Experience in KSA or GCC preferred.
• Familiarity with local regulations, vendors, and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Procurement planning and strategy for electromechanical packages.
• Review drawings, BOQs, and specs to determine procurement needs.
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams and planning engineers.
• Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers/subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Lead RFQ/RFPs, bid evaluations, and PO/subcontract finalization.
• Ensure material compliance with specs and coordinate submittals.
• Monitor budgets, cost savings, and value engineering where applicable.
• Track orders, logistics, and customs clearance; manage risks to schedule.
• Maintain procurement records and support audits; ensure policy compliance.
