Job summary

AECOM in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a detail-oriented MEP Engineer to design, coordinate, and manage mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for commercial and residential projects. You will work with architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure seamless integration and compliance with local and international building standards.

The ideal candidate has strong BIM experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and at least 10 years of experience in MEP.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of MEP engineering experience.
Proficient with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit; BIM coordination experience.
Knowledge of Saudi building codes and local practices preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing networks.
Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural designs to ensure compatibility and optimal building performance.
Prepare and review BOQ and cost estimates for MEP components.
Conduct site inspections and supervise MEP installations to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to facilitate project execution.
Ensure designs comply with Saudi building codes and international standards.
