• The rural service town is located in one of the major wheat producing areas of South Australia and is situated on the Eyre Highway 464 kilometers north west of Adelaide with an approximate population of 1,059 residents | The district hospital is a 20 bed facility with an emergency department which is staffed by a registered nurse who offers assessment and treatment, and a Doctor is available on call
• Opportunity for ongoing work for 2026. Monday to Friday roster only, great for Adelaide based doctors | Flights, accommodation and hire car provided
• Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm | Regional on call for 3 x district hospitals | 1 in 3, overnight on call 7pm to 8am | 3 towns within 40mins of each other | SAVES (SA Virtual Emergency Services) program is used for category 3, 4 & 5 presentations.
