Job summary

Asalah Residence Company, a Mohammed Al-Habib Group subsidiary, seeks a Senior Mechanical Site Engineer for a landmark Riyadh high-rise towers project. You will lead on-site mechanical execution, supervise HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and chilled water installs, and coordinate with civil/electrical teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of Saudi codes, BIM coordination, and QA/QC sign-off experience across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience on high-rise tower projects.
• Direct hands-on execution background, not purely design or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and chilled water systems.
• Experience managing labor crews and/or subcontractors on site.
• Familiarity with BIM-coordinated shop drawings and site verification.
• Working knowledge of Saudi Civil Defense fire-fighting codes and mechanical standards.
• Track record of managing inspection, testing documentation and QA/QC sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Act as site engineer with responsibility for direct execution, resourcing and delivery of mechanical works.
• Supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting and chilled water systems per drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical and architectural activities.
• Verify shop drawings and BIM coordination on site.
• Record formal inspections at each stage of mechanical installation.
• Manage direct labor crews and subcontractors and verify progress/quality.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and measurements for interim payments and variations.
• Coordinate with Technical Team and design consultants on RFIs and site queries.
• Supervise and mentor junior mechanical engineers at the fronts.
• Monitor testing, balancing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes and project technical standards; maintain records.
