WSP Global Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join the Construction Supervision team for a major KAEC infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia.

You will oversee inspections of mechanical installations across water networks, firefighting, irrigation, sewerage, and stormwater systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards. You will work closely with the Resident Engineer, review materials, witness testing and commissioning, maintain records, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of construction supervision and inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting water, firefighting, irrigation, sewerage, and stormwater systems.
• Experience with engineering consultancy or supervision firms.
• Knowledge of international standards, specifications, and construction quality.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of mechanical utility networks.
• Ability to review shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation.
• English fluency; Arabic knowledge is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Inspect mechanical infrastructure works per drawings, specs, and contract.
• Supervise installation of potable water, firefighting, irrigation, sewerage, and stormwater.
• Review materials delivered for spec compliance.
• Witness testing, flushing, pressure testing, commissioning and handover.
• Maintain inspection records and produce reports.
• Coordinate with Contractors, Engineers and stakeholders on site.
• Ensure compliance with method statements, ITPs, and QA procedures.
• Monitor contractor workmanship and HSE compliance.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
• Support Resident Engineer to meet milestones.
