Job summary

OCA GLOBAL is seeking a Mechanical Inspector (QM) to conduct inspections of mechanical equipment, piping, welding, and pressure components per international codes and Saudi Aramco standards. You will verify materials, PMI results, and documentation, and maintain QC records while coordinating with project teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities include reviewing codes, coordinating NDT, inspecting fabrication through completion, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of inspection experience for mechanical equipment and piping.
• Strong knowledge of International Codes & Standards and Saudi Aramco Standards.
• Saudi Aramco–approved inspector or CBT exam & interview.
• Certified in API SIFE, API 653, API 570, API 510.
• ASME Code Certifications for Vessels/Boilers/Exchangers.
• ASNT Level II in MT/PT/UT/VT/RTFI.
• AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1/3.2 Certified Welding Inspector.
• Proven knowledge of mechanical inspection requirements and PMI instruments.
• QMs - QM-03, 05, 07, 30, 31, 34, 35, 37, 68.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical commodities (pipes, fittings, valves, structural steel, fasteners, boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers).
• Review compliance with ASME, API, AWS, NACE and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Coordinate NDT (MT, PT, UT, VT, RTFI) and welding inspection activities.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Aramco Specifications & Standards.
• Inspect fabrication, installation, testing, and completion of mechanical systems.
• Verify material certificates, PMI results and related documentation.
• Maintain inspection reports, QC records, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and QA managers to resolve issues.
• Support audits, surveillance activities and provide quality input.
