Job description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to independently manage mechanical engineering activities for client-side project representation in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the client’s mechanical engineering representative on site
• Review and verify mechanical works against approved drawings, Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense, and project specifications
• Inspect HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, smoke management, and related systems
• Review IFC and shop drawings, identify clashes, design gaps, and constructability issues
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover
• Issue clear technical reports, track defects, and verify closure
• Review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and handover documents
• Attend technical and site meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10–12 years total experience, with at least 5 years in consultant, PMC, or client-side roles
• Strong experience in high-rise buildings, commissioning, and handover phases
• Solid knowledge of Saudi Building Code and Civil Defense requirements
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and smoke management systems
• Strong reporting and communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and inspection/reporting tools
• English required; Arabic is an advantage
